Back in the Future, Day 113

At Poppy & Vincent's apartment, West Piedmont:

Hiiri (to Zoe): Number 4, if you can hear me, return to the Airship Holden immediately or I will continue to make life hell for the Jones boy.

Zoe (to Hiiri): What!?! How are you even doing this? You're not real. This is just a bad dream.

Hiiri (to Zoe): You can continue to think that if you like, but do you really want to risk it?

Zoe (to Hiiri): Go to Hell, Hiiri. What do you want with me, anyway? I thought I was defective.

Hiiri (to Zoe): Well, that was my mistake... I did not fully understand your value until now. And, did you really think I would let any of you simply run around without any means of finding you. Don't be absurd. You have a communication device implanted behind your right ear. Now, that the portals are closed & you have the ability to cross them, I have need of you. So, what will it be? I can continue to destroy the Jones boy's life or you come here now... The choice is yours.

Zoe (to Hiiri): That's not really much of a choice.

Hiiri (to Zoe): I know. That's what makes it so wonderful. You have twelve hours to get here. Otherwise, Stage 2 goes into effect.

Zoe (to Hiiri): ... Fine. I really hate you, you know?

Hiiri (to Zoe): Sticks & stones, little one, sticks & stones.

A moment later:

Zoe: Damn it. What do I do now!?! (to Vincent & Poppy) MOM! DAD! Wake up! It's an emergency!

Vincent (to Zoe): Huh? Zoe? What...what's happening? Are you alright?

Poppy (to Zoe): Honey, I'm not feeling so good this morning. What's wrong?

Zoe (to Vincent & Poppy): It-- It's Hiiri. She contacted me via some creepy implant. She's behind the crap with Nate & Aiden. She said she'd stop tormenting Nate, if I went to her airship. I've got 12 hours otherwise, she starts the next phase. I don't know what to do! I should go... But, I don't trust her.

Vincent (to Zoe): Zoe Clair Meriwether, there is no way in HELL you are going to that monster. Of course she can't be trusted.

Zoe (to Vincent & Poppy): But, what about Nate? If I can make all this sh-- crap go away, shouldn't I?

Vincent (to Zoe): Sweetie, do you really think she's stop messing with him if you meet her demands? She won't. And she could very well be lying. You remember when CLANNG told Victor they'd kidnapped Seph, right? We'll figure this out as a family, hun. Your mother removed CLANNG from Britannia! We can handle Hiiri. OK?

Poppy (to Zoe): Your father's right, honey. We'll think of something. A lot can happen in twelve hours.

Zoe (to Vincent & Poppy): Okay.

Vincent (to Zoe): Promise me you won't go to her airship, Zoe. Please.

Zoe (to Vincent & Poppy): ... I promise I won't go to her airship.

Poppy (to Zoe): Honey, go get yourself sorted for school. When you get back, we'll have a plan. Ok?

Zoe (to Vincent & Poppy): Yes, ma'am.

A moment later:

Poppy (to Vincent): Lover? Now, can I go kill Hiiri?

Vincent (to Poppy): Need a hand? ...How the hell did we not figure this out sooner?

Poppy (to Vincent): Because, that bloody monster is very good. I'm hoping that she has no idea who Aiden is other than Nate's boyfriend. But, I'm going to assume that she does until proven otherwise.

Vincent (to Poppy): I think it's safer that we do. She knew Zoe and Nate were friends, after all. How long do you think she's been "taking an interest" in the Joneses?

Poppy (to Vincent): Hmmm... How long have we thought she was dead? She must have been up to something that whole time. She's an automaton, she has all the time in the world, honey. She could be planning things that won't see it's fruition for ages. But, why now? We're clearly missing something... We need a different perspective.

Vincent (to Poppy): You lead, and I'll follow, lover.

Poppy (to Vincent): Well, I'm sadly out of the game this time, lover... Yoyo's going to have to go in my place. Go talk to Fiona & see if she's willing to lend a hand. And then, we need to talk to Tesla & Percy. You may also want to talk to your sister. She sadly has a much deeper understanding of Hiiri more than anyone else, even Zoe. Once we have any idea of what we might be dealing with than we can come up with a plan of attack.

Vincent (to Poppy): You'll just have to be our mastermind, behind the scenes, lover. Give me a hug. I'm going to go see my sister first, and then round up the gang. What should we tell Aiden and Nate?

Poppy (to Vincent): The truth, honey, they need to know what's going on. I'm also worried that our daughter is going to do something stupid. She agreed to go to school and promised you a little too quickly for my taste.

Vincent (to Poppy): Mmm. I know. She didn't even try to argue with us.

Meanwhile, at Nathaniel & Aiden's apartment, West Piedmont:

Zoe: Come on! Open the door! (to Aiden & Nathaniel) I know you're in there. Come on! Wake up!

Nathaniel (to Zoe): Jesus Christ! Are you TRYING to get our neighbors to fucking hate us? We're both up, getting ready for work. Why the fuck... What's happened?

Zoe (to Nathaniel): I'm sorry. I wanted to say-- I wanted to say goodbye, Nate. I love you & you're my best friend. Will you give these letters to my family? This one is for you. Don't read it until after I'm gone. I gotta go & see Colin.

Nathaniel (to Zoe): Goodbye? What are you talking about? Woah, woah, woah! Wait a goddamn minute. You are not going anywhere. What the fuck is going on, Zoe?

Zoe (to Nathaniel): Hiiri contacted me... She's the one making your life miserable. She said she'd stop if I went to her. So, I'm going... I know it might be a trick, but the only way I can figure out how to stop her is to find out what she's up to. And the only way to do that is to go... I did have another plan but it was super risky & possibly stupid. Well, more stupid. This one only affects me, the other one could affect everyone.

Nathaniel (to Zoe): The FUCK it does! How the hell am I supposed to feel about you doing this cause of my very special fucking robo-stalker, huh? How the hell are your parents gonna feel? Or your fucking boyfriend? Jesus! Enough people have gotten fucking murdered, or fucked over because they're associated with me, alright? Don't fucking go LEAPING into the arms of this... this fucking...

Aiden (to Nathaniel): What's going on out here? (to Zoe) Zoe, what are you doing here? Shouldn't you be at school?

Zoe (to Nathaniel & Aiden): Yes... I was on my way.

Nathaniel (to Zoe): Zoe, please. Don't go.

Aiden (to Nathaniel & Zoe): You both are clearly agitated. Come inside & have some tea... I'm really sorry about this, Zoe.

Zoe (to Aiden): What!?! You--

Aiden (to Nathaniel): Nate, please call your aunt & uncle. I'm going to put Zoe on the couch. She's going to be out for a bit.

Nathaniel (to Aiden): Thank you! Oh Jesus... Thank you. You're fucking brilliant, you know that? I'll call them right now.

Aiden (to Nathaniel): It was nothing... I overheard everything she said, I was standing behind the door. Old habits die hard, I guess.

Nathaniel (to Aiden): Yeah. Thank fucking god for that. So... I guess Hiiri is behind all this shit happening to you right now. Fuck... Shit. I'll freak out about it later. Lemme call my aunt. .

Aiden (to Nathaniel): Alright. I'm going to call Ms. Fawkes & let her know that I'm going to be late to work. (to Delia) Ms. Fawkes, I'm sorry to say that I'm going to be a bit late for work, today. I'll be there as soon as I can.

Delia (to Aiden): No worries. I will consider it all forgiven if you can somehow manage to bring me one of Oliver's amazing coffees.

Aiden (to Delia): Consider it done.

Delia (to Aiden): Good minion. I like that you require so little training.

Nathaniel (to Poppy): Hey, Aunt Poppy? It's Nate. Um, Zoe's here... Currently unconscious

Poppy (to Nathaniel): Thank you, Nate, for letting me know. I was wondering what her plan was. I'll send Vincent over to collect her.

Nathaniel (to Poppy): Yeah. Aiden was able to get her, uh, subdued before she skipped. So, I guess there's no denying it's Hiiri, huh?

Poppy (to Nathaniel): Well, she may be involved or simply taking advantage of the situation. We're working on the assumption that she's to blame. I think it will save us a few steps. We have roughly 11 hours to figure something out. (to Vincent; phone) Honey, our daughter is presently unconscious on Nate & Aiden's couch. You may want to grab her after your visit with Emma.

Vincent (to Poppy): Alright. Give me a kiss, wife of mine. I'm off to see my sister, and collect our sneaky young lady.

Nathaniel (to Poppy): Oh. Should I, I dunno, DO something? What happens in 11 hours?

Poppy (to Nathaniel): Just do what you would normally do, for now, honey. We're in the information gathering stage. Hiiri told Zoe that in 11 hours from now the next stage of her plan against you was going to go into effect if she didn't turn herself over... I know, this is asking a lot but do you think you could contact your Aunt Mary & see if she can give you any clues in regards to Hiiri? (to Vincent) I love you, honey.

Vincent (to Poppy): I love you too.

Nathaniel (to Poppy): ...Yeah. I can do that.

Poppy (to Nathaniel): Thank you, sweetie. We're not going to let Hiiri get her hands on Zoe. Okay?

Nathaniel (to Poppy): I know you won't. Thanks. I'll call as soon as I talk to my aunt. (to Aiden) My uncle's gonna stop by and grab Zoe in a little while. I can stay here with her if you wanna get to work.

Aiden (to Nathaniel): Alright. I love you. Call me if you need me... and please apologize to Zoe for knocking her out.

Nathaniel (to Aiden): I love you too... C'mere for a minute. I just... I know it's not my fault, but... I'm sorry. I know it's been shitty, and sometimes horrible, but I wouldn't trade us for anything. Even if I had to do it all a hundred times over again. I'll see you after my cooking class, OK?

Aiden (to Nathaniel): I know. I feel the same way. I'll see you this evening.

A short time later, at Renfield's, West Piedmont:

Aiden (to Oliver): Oliver, do you know what kind of coffee Ms. Fawkes likes? Because, I'm going to need one of those.

Oliver (to Aiden): Of course. Unfortunately, I can't put the Irish cream in it since it's To Go. I hope she doesn't mind.

Aiden (to Oliver): Well, it is for work, so I think she'll understand. Thank you.

Oliver (to Aiden): That hasn't stopped her before, Mr. Wilkes. I'll have it ready for you in a moment.

Vincent (to Aiden): Heh. Getting a peace offering for Delia, I see. How are you holding up, Aiden?

Aiden (to Vincent): As well as can be expected, I suppose... Though I do have to admit to being strangely relieved that all of this may be Hiiri's doing & not just a terrible ploy on the part of Nate's parents. I mean, it makes it no less terrible... Is that odd?

Vincent (to Aiden): No, Not at all. Having your parents do something terrible to you is a special kind of hurt, and you don't want the boy you love to go through that. Poppy and I owe you boys an apology. It's because of us Hiiri has gotten involved in your lives. We shouldn't have been so shortsighted when it came to her.

Aiden (to Vincent): You don't owe me anything, Vincent. Nate is the best thing that's ever happened to me. Which is because of you & Poppy. We'll figure this all out and hopefully, go back to our normal lives. We have faith in you both. Now, I really should get to work before Ms. Fawkes' coffee gets cold. That wouldn't do as a peace offering, now would it?

Vincent (to Aiden): Hee hee. No it wouldn't. We'll see you soon.

A few minutes later:

Vincent (to Mouse): Hey sweet sister of mine. Can I interrupt you for a little bit?

Mouse (to Vincent): Hey, little brother... Oh god. What's wrong? You have that look.

Vincent (to Mouse): And a bottle of very good whiskey in my flask. It's Hiiri.

Mouse (to Vincent): ... Oh. Let's go up to my office. (to Lisabeth) Lisabeth, you & Oliver are in charge until further notice.

Lisabeth (to Mouse): Oh yes, of course.

Vincent (to Mouse): Good heavens... Where do I start with this clusterfuck? First of all, Nate may be a little late this morning. Hiiri contacted Zoe this morning through some hidden communication device. She promised to stop making Nate's life hell if she, met her on her airship in--oh--about 10 hours from now. If she doesn't, Hiiri will implement "Stage 2" of her Evil Plan.

Mouse (to Vincent): Oh... The poor kids. How are they holding up?

Vincent (to Mouse): They're all more than a bit freaked out. Zoe was going to run off to her this morning. Fortunately, Aiden knocked her out before she could do anything stupid or rash.

Mouse (to Vincent): Heehee... I'm sorry. I shouldn't laugh… So, I take it you're hear to delve into the psyche of the pyscho-robot, huh?

Vincent (to Mouse): More like we need another perspective, and, unfortunately for you, hun, you've spent the most time with her.

Mouse (to Vincent): Well, what do you need to know? I'll help anyway I can.

Vincent (to Mouse): We're trying to figure out what her end game is. We suspect she's been keeping an eye on Nate for a while. So, we're trying to figure out why is she fucking with him now, what her "stage 2" could be, and why she needs Zoe.

Mouse (to Vincent): Oh... Well, Hiiri has always had a lot of rage in her because you & Eep didn't accept her into your lives when she first appeared. Why do you think she kept me & Mars with her for as long as she did? It wasn't just to get to you, it was because there's still some of me in there buried deep down. And, she wanted her family back. When you guys rejected her, I think it made her a little more nuts and personalized her mission. All that stuff with world domination that's secondary to making your lives terrible... I'm good at holding a grudge.

Vincent (to Mouse): ... Maybe it's not just Zoe she's after.

Mouse (to Vincent): What are you thinking, little brother?

Vincent (to Mouse): One of the reasons Hiiri hid you five years in the past was a happy accident, wasn't it? One of the things she was really after was adopting me as a lost, wayward thing before you could, wasn't it?

Mouse (to Vincent): Yes... Oh god, do you think she's got something like that planned for Nate?

Vincent (to Mouse): I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me. We know she, or at least agents of hers, have been watching him at least for the past three years at least. He recognized two of her agents from some of his stays in the hospital. But, I suspect it's been longer than that. If we were able to figure out Nate's a skipper based on his "delusional breaks," I would imagine Hiiri would as well. God, it would also explain why his ex-boyfriend was trying to get Nate to go to the Old Piedmont Hotel...

Mouse (to Vincent): ... Oh... I just had a nasty thought. What if she wants Zoe to take her back to a point where Nate was very vulnerable & needed a friend? Do you think he'd fall for Hiiri's trick or would she use Zoe to do it?

Vincent (to Mouse): I honestly don't know, sweetie. I would have, and I imagine she'd try to use Zoe. I don't know that Zoe would do it, but Hiiri would certainly try. Because she's nothing if not a cruel, horrible thing.

Mouse (to Vincent): Well, it sounds like you have your work cut out for you. I'm sorry she's being terrible again. I really wish I had taken care of her all those years ago when I had the chance.

Vincent (to Mouse): Give me a hug, big sister. I thought I had, if you remember, and it didn't leave me in a very good state, as I recall.

Mouse (to Vincent): Yes, that is true... Be careful. I have no desire to go to your funeral any time soon.

Vincent (to Mouse): Believe me, I have no desire to HAVE a funeral any time soon. You're about to get yourself another nephew, by the by.

Mouse (to Vincent): Heehee, are you over the moon about it?

Vincent (to Mouse): I am. How on earth did I end up with this gaggle of children? :-P

Mouse (to Vincent): Heehee, I have no idea. I'll see you later, little brother. Oh, and take these for the family. It might make Zoe less angry about being knocked unconscious.

Vincent (to Mouse): Thank you, sweetie. You're better than I deserve.

A little while later, at the Piedmont Museum of Art & Science, West Piedmont:

Delia (to Aiden): Thank you for the coffee... but you look like someone kicked your puppy. Everything alright? If you need the day off its cool

Aiden (to Delia): We're having a bit of family drama at the moment. Do you think it would be alright if I worked for a bit & then left early?

Delia (to Aiden): Oh goodness. I can only imagine what that might mean with THIS family. That'll be fine. Do some work, clear your head and do what you need to. I am all too familiar that "drama" is usually code for CLANNG is fuckin' shit up. That or Vincent is being Vincent or his bio family has gone crazy-pants again.

Aiden (to Delia): Heh... Well, you hit the nail on the head. And, thank you. I think some time with relics will make me feel a bit calmer.

Delia (to Aiden): Yeah, spend enough time around this bunch, you get a feel for the lingo.

A few moments later:

Delia (to Vincent; phone): So, the word drama has been spoken. CLANNG, your family or you personally? Or some combination thereof?

Vincent (to Delia): Oh dear. Aiden admitted there was family drama? He MUST be worried. I'm afraid it's a combo package.

Delia (to Vincent): Oh, fantastic. Well.. lemme know if you need me for anything. Whether kicking someone in the teeth or watching' the kids while the adults handle the problems. Or just keeping an eye on a problem. Whatever you need.

Vincent (to Delia): Heh. Thank you, hun. Hiiri is still around, and has been causing problems with Nate, apparently.

Delia (to Vincent): I'm suddenly reminded of that old "cat came back" song. I have access to power tools if we need to just disassemble her.

Vincent (to Delia): You have no idea how much I would LOVE to do that.

Delia (to Vincent): We could strip her for parts... rebuild her into something ACTUALLY useful. Like a coffe maker or trash compactor.

Vincent (to Delia): Heh. Or a septic tank.

Meanwhile, at Nathaniel & Aiden's apartment, West Piedmont:

Nathaniel: Alright. I can do this… (to Mary Jones; phone) Um, Aunt Mary? This is Nate.

Mary (to Nathaniel): Nate! Good gracious. Are you OK? Is everything alright?

Nathaniel (to Mary): No. Not really. Have Mom and Dad gone frickin' crazy? They're trying to get my boyfriend charged with rape, Aunt Mary!

Mary (to Nathaniel): What are you talking about, Nate? The man they're charging is the one who... He attacked you three years ago.

Nathaniel (to Mary): No, he isn't. He's my *boyfriend*. Just because my parents don't like the fact that I'm gay doesn't mean...

Mary (to Nathaniel): Sweetie, your Mom and Dad aren't doing this because they're mad at you. He IS the one who assaulted you. I wasn't supposed to tell you this, but I don't want you thinking anyone is doing this to be cruel. Your parents received a package from one of the counselors in the camp. She said she felt guilty about what happened, and that no one believed you. It was the reports you made after he attacked you, photos, and information about where he was located now.

Nathaniel (to Mary): Aunt Mary, it WASN'T Aiden. I know who it fucking was. I know for a FACT who it was. It was Barry Finbarr.

Mary (to Nathaniel): Nate, Barry was the one who you got your drugs from. Aiden was the one who assaulted you, and we suspect he's been stalking you, which is how he found you in West Piedmont. I know this seems shocking, sweetie, but you had just been... you had suffered a trauma, and you were taking drugs, Doctor Watson thinks this caused the onset of your schizophrenia...

Nathaniel (to Mary): Wait. Who the hell is Dr. Watson? I only ever saw Dr. Han.

Mary (to Nathaniel): Dr. Jane Watson. She's been overseeing your case with Dr. Han for the last three years. She recommended Dr. Han to us. She first learned about your case when you were in the hospital. She would come to see you from time to time, but usually only when you were seriously ill. You probably don't remember her.

Nathaniel (to Mary): Is she young? Late twenties, early thirties? Prematurely white hair?

Mary (to Nathaniel): So, you do remember her. Now, Nate, don't get upset when your parents come to take you home. I know it doesn't seem like it, but they only want what's best for you. You have to believe me.

Nathaniel (to Mary): WHAT? I... I have to go, Aunt Mary. And I don't care WHAT that report says. Aiden has NEVER hurt me. I love him, and he's the best damn thing that's ever happened to me!

A few hours later, At Mouse & Eep's house, West Piedmont:

Gabriel (to Mouse): Mom.. I've been thinking'. Do we know if Aunt Poppy and Uncle Vincent is haven' a boy or a girl? I have been thinkin' of names.

Mouse (to Gabriel): Heehee, they're having a boy... What kind of names have you been thinking, Goo?

Gabriel (to Mouse): Oh good. Cause I haven't been able to think of any good girls names. I was thinkin MAYBE the could name him... Totoro, cause I like that movie, T-Rex cause that is the best dinosaur or Optimus Prime cause that's my favorite robot.

Mouse (to Gabriel): Heh... I'll let them know your ideas. Don't be mad if they don't like them, though.

Gabriel (to Mouse): That's okay. That just means I'll has to thinks of somethin' EVEN BETTER.

Mouse (to Gabriel): Maybe, you should look in your books. There might be some good names there.

Gabriel (to Mouse): That is a GOOD idea, Mom. I'll do that now!!!

Mouse (to Gabriel): Sounds good. What do you want for dinner? Your dad's got a late class so it's just you & me.

Gabriel (to Mouse): Ummmmm..... would Dad be mad if we had Empanadas without him? I like those.

Mouse (to Gabriel): Hmmm... I could make those. But they take time so I'd need help. Know anyone willing to lend a hand?

Gabriel (to Mouse): OMG YES. I'll go wash!

Mouse (to Gabriel): Heehee, If you'd like, I'll even let you wear the skeleton apron.

Gabriel (to Mouse): BESTEST. DINNER. EVER.

Mouse (to Gabriel): You are incredibly silly.

A short time later, at the Jones' house, Dogpatch, Mississippi:

Hiiri (to Mary; phone): Mrs. McKenzie? This is Dr. Watson. I was just calling to see if you got the paperwork that I sent in regards to Nathaniel?

Mary (to Hiiri): I... I did, Doctor. Are you SURE this is the best course of action for my nephew? His relationship with his parents is already so strained. I'm just not sure...

Hiiri (to Mary): I believe it is the best course of action. Nathaniel is clearly a danger to himself & suffering from the early onset of a psychotic break. He needs to be somewhere safe with people who care about his well-being. The fact that he thinks his abuser is his boyfriend is just the first step. He'll start talking about conspiracy theories & plots against him. You want what's best for him, don't you? We need to get him away from that man as quickly as possible. We can & should start the court proceedings asap.

Mary (to Hiiri): No, no. You're right, Dr. Watson. I just... I really wanted to believe he was getting better. The last time that I saw him, he seemed so much more stable than he had in years. I'll pass the paperwork on to my brother.

Hiiri (to Mary): Moments of lucidity are completely normal in cases like his. Honestly, I was hoping that I was wrong about this & that he had really turned a corner. Call me if you or his parents have any questions.

Mary (to Hiiri): We will. Thank you, doctor. You're sure we shouldn't tell my brother Vincent about this? I don't want him to think something has happened to Nate.

Hiiri (to Mary): Oh, if you think you need to inform him, I'm sure it would be alright.

Mary (to Hiiri): I will. I'll wait until after Nate's been picked up, but I do think we should tell him. I don't think he meant any harm taking Nate in. I just don't think he knows the boy like we do.

Hiiri (to Mary): You're so right. Good night & God bless.

Mary (to Hiiri): Good night, Dr. Watson.

Hiiri: That woman is... an idiot.

Mary: That woman has been a godsend.

An hour or so later, at Poppy & Vincent's apartment, West Piedmont:

Hiiri (to Zoe): Tick, tock, Number 4... Time's running out.

Zoe: Ow, my friggin' head.

Vincent (to Zoe): Zoe? How are you feeling?

Zoe (to Vincent): Like some big stupid British man used the Vulcan nerve pinch on me.

Vincent (to Zoe): Heh. Well, that is certainly an accurate account of what happened. Here. Have a chocolate croissant.

Zoe (to Vincent): ... Thanks, but I'm not hungry.

Vincent (to Zoe): Are you not hungry, or are you angry that your family didn't let you run off to the crazy fucking robot?

Zoe (to Vincent): ... A little column A, a little column B.

Vincent (to Zoe): Honey, no one in this family wants to you run off to face Hiiri alone. Especially not your cousin. He sat with you until I came to pick you up because he was terrified you were going to run off in some fit of altruistic insanity, you know. Heh heh.

Zoe (to Vincent): I know, but it's like having an evil twin beating up your best friend.

Vincent (to Zoe): Come here, sweetie. Believe me, I know EXACTLY how Hiiri can push your buttons and make you feel like you have to jump, whenever she says BOO! But, based on what your mom has found out Hiiri's been keeping an eye on the Jones family for years. We have no idea what her end game is, which is all the more reason for you to stay as FAR away from her as possible I don't think she can cross over here. If she could, I'm sure we would have seen her by now. Don't worry. We won't let her anywhere near you OR your cousin, OK? It will all be OK.

Zoe (to Vincent): That doesn't really make me feel any better but I appreciate it.

Vincent (to Zoe): We love you, Zoe, and your friends, your mother, brother, cousin and I would all be heartbroken if anything happened to you. I know what I'm asking, when I'm asking you to stay here, hun. Believe me, if it were me in your place at your age, I wouldn't have done the smart thing, either. :-P

Zoe (to Vincent): Thank you, dad. I love you guys.

Vincent (to Zoe): I know you do, hun. Come here. We will figure this out together. I promise.

Zoe (to Vincent): Okay... I need an aspirin & sleep. Aiden doesn't fool around with that darn nerve pinch.

Vincent (to Zoe): Heh. Alright, hun. I'll go get you a couple of pills and a glass of water. Get some sleep. Tomorrow, you and your mom can go see Hari, and see if she can get that damn communicator out. Good night, sweetie.

Zoe (to Vincent): Okay. That sounds good.
