Back in the Future, Day 73

At the Longfellow's Inn, New London, Britannia:

Sylvester (to Persephone): Excuse me, miss. But, would you by any chance know why the horse on our carriage is missing?

Persephone (to Sylvester): Hmmm, you're new around here, aren't you?

Sylvester (to Persephone): Oh yes, I was just transferred from the colonies. I've never been on this side of the pond before.

Persephone (to Sylvester): Heehee, well... good luck. You're going to need it.

A few minutes later:

Victor (to Persephone): Pssst! Seph! Still under heavy surveillance, I see.

Persephone (to Victor): Hey! Should you be here?

Victor (to Persephone): Not in the slightest. I just wanted to check up on you and Aunt Molly. Besides, who else would come? My mom would be shot on sight, and I think my dad has forgotten how to blend in. Is everyone alright?

Persephone (to Victor): Heh. That's true... It's alright. Mam is doing okay. She's fussing from her bed but that's a thousand times better than she was & the doctor thinks the baby is okay. Dad's still a wreck & the boys are a pain, but we're getting by... There's a new bumpkin lieutenant in charge... He left his horse at the gate, like a twit.

Victor (to Persephone): What? What on earth was he thinking? Heh. I suppose he no longer has a horse. Well, that will make getting away with things all the easier, then. I'm glad everything is alright. Mom was wrecked with worry. I also wanted to tell you, we have a new ship. Last time Yoyo and I were in the Falcon, we were hit with a lightening bomb.

Persephone (to Victor): Oh... Well, that's terrible & exciting at the same time.

Victor (to Persephone): Hee hee. You are the ONLY person I know would find being hit with a lightening bomb exciting, you know that, don't you?

Persephone (to Victor): No, you dolt! I was excited about the new ship.

Victor (to Persephone): Hee hee. You can't really blame me for assuming otherwise. Yes, we have a new ship, Yoyo, my dad and I have spent the past few days getting her up to snuff. My, uh, my dad let me name her.

Persephone (to Victor): Oh my goodness, Victor! Do you know what that means? Of course, you do... So, what did you name it?

Victor (to Persephone): He hasn't said anything yet. I think he's waiting until all this drama is over. I named her the Wicked Sister.

Persephone (to Victor): Heehee... Did you tell Zoe?

Victor (to Persephone): Heh. Not yet. I haven't seen her since she made the suggestion. I'm sure she's going to be thrilled.

A short time later:

Sylvester (to Persephone): I'm sorry to bother you again, Miss, but can you please direct me to this address? I'm a bit turned around.

Persephone (to Sylvester): Oh yes, of course. Turn left out our gate & go four blocks, you'll see a sign with a purple cow, turn right, then head

Sylvester (to Persephone): Thank you.

A moment later:

Starling (to Sylvester): Kingsley, did you finally figure out how to get me back to the airship?

Sylvester (to Starling): Yes, Miss Starling.
