Mouse looks at Eep sitting across from her at her kitchen table, "So, how do you think your first night went?"
"Ok, I think. I mean, I have no idea what I'm doing, but I avoided getting roofied, felt up, and beaten up. Sasha and Jules asked me to come back, so that means I did ok, I guess."
"Did you like it? I know you were a bit nervous, but it seemed like you were handling yourself fine. Besides, I have to say it was kinda hot watching you work... and, I have now learned what jealousy feels like."
"Yeah. I did. It's better than the Yog Hut, that's for sure. Plus, one of the DJs is damn cute." Eep smiles at her, "Wait. You were jealous!?!"
Mouse shrugs, "A little... Watching those girls flirt with you. Yeah, I know that you're not interested in any of them. I'll get over it."
"You mean the drunk, stoned, and/or married ones? Yeah. It's just cause I'm the door guy, like you said. Believe me. There was nothing worth being jealous of. I didn't get that much attention. They were all drooling over Jules. Besides, I left with the most interesting person there." Mouse smiles at him, "Aww, you are wonderful."
"Hey, um, me garnering Good Boyfriend Points aside, are you sure this isn't gonna be weird for you? I mean, I don't wanna work there if it's gonna make you uncomfortable."
Mouse giggles and shakes her head, "Yeah, I'll be fine. Just not used to having a handsome man in my life. What are your plans for the evening? Interested in dinner and a movie?"
"What handsome man? When were you gonna tell me about him? Seriously though, dinner and a movie sound great. I think I still owe you a plate of empanadas."
"Empanadas sound delicious."
"Cool. I'll see you tonight, then." Eep grabs his hat off the table & kisses her on the forehead, "I'm gonna have to use store-bought crust, so don't judge me too harshly."
