Strange Ways Here We Come: Day 18

Eep (to Mouse): Hey. Been up a while?

Mouse (to Eep): Yeah, I was feeling a little frazzled about last night & started getting ready for work before I remembered I had the day off. How'd you sleep, husband o' mine?

Eep (to Mouse): Yeah. I'm not surprised. I know I've slept better.

Mouse (to Eep): So, should we call your dad or Jorge about Carlos being in jail? Someone should probably go get him.

Eep (to Mouse): What? Oh. No. They won't get him. Jorge wants about as much to do with him as I do, and Pop won't pick him up. It'll be too much trouble. I mean, Pop wouldn't even pick me up from the hospital when I was committed. He never bailed him out any of the other times he's been arrested. Doesn't matter anyway.

Mouse (to Eep): Oh well, alright then. Wanda came by this morning and left the video. She swore it was the only copy & knew you'd want to see it.

Eep (to Mouse): Yeah? Are you OK with me watching it?

Mouse (to Eep): Yeah, honestly, it's fine... I mean, it's not like I didn't watch the video you were in...

Eep (to Mouse): Heh. Yeah. That's not quite the same thing, is it? Besides, if I remember, you fell asleep.

Mouse (to Eep): Well, yeah... the first time... I have to admit I went back and watched it by myself.

Eep (to Mouse): Oh. Uh, yeah. Still, I think you kicking Carlos's ass is a lot less embarrassing that that piece of shit.

Mouse (to Eep): I'm not worried about being embarrassed... of course, that doesn't mean I want it up on the internet.

Eep (to Mouse): Wow. You had him down fast. ... Holy shit.

Mouse (to Eep): I did? Weird. I felt like I was moving in slow motion when it happened.

Eep (to Mouse): Yeah. That, uh, that was kinda crazy impressive.

Mouse (to Eep): Well, I do what I can. :-)

Eep (to Mouse): So, uh, now you've met both my brothers. I'm sure you're charmed.

Mouse (to Eep): Well, I wouldn't put it that way, exactly. However, since I'm in love with their younger brother, I can deal with it.

Eep (to Mouse): Shit. It must be love if you're willing to put up with those two. God, I am so fucking sorry you had to deal with that.

Mouse (to Eep): Sweetie, you have to deal with my pervy brother on a regular basis, so I think it's only fair, that every now & then I have to beat up one of your older asshole brothers. :-P

Eep (to Mouse): Ha ha ha! Well, I'd take Vincent at his most pervy any day over Carlos or Jorge. Heh. Thanks, though.

Mouse (to Eep): You say that now, but if Vincent was being his normal pervy self, I suspect you wouldn't be so quick to say that. :-)

Eep (to Mouse): Heh. Maybe, but having dealt with both Vincent in full-on perv mode AND Carlos, I have to say I still prefer your brother.

Mouse (to Eep): So, still interested in marrying me or do I need to punch another family member?

Eep (to Mouse): Heh. Well... There's still my dad. You, uh, you weren't worried that I'd be pissed or have second thoughts or something, were you?

Mouse (to Eep): I know it's silly but, since you talked to your dad the other day, everyone asking about a date & now this... I wasn't sure.

Eep (to Mouse): Heh. Yeah. I'm sure. Hell, part of me wishes I could go back in time and tell my 16 year old self that in the future, I'm gonna date a woman who breaks Carlos's nose.

Mouse (to Eep): Yeah, so you can avoid it? :-p

Eep (to Mouse): Ha! Not hardly. It's more like the opposite.

Several hours later:

Mouse (to Ripper): Hey, can I sneak in & spin a set? I'm feeling antsy & I don't wanna annoy my neighbors.

Ripper (to Mouse): Of course, you can!

Mouse (to Eep, Ripper & Vincent): Warning, you are about to have a rodent infestation on the decks. :-)

Vincent (to Mouse): I thought this mix sounded familiar. Good to see you spinning again, sister dearest. :-}

Mouse (to Vincent): Heehee, I miss spinning.

Vincent (to Mouse): You know you can't stay away from us. :-P
