Victor (to Yukiko): … I'm sure it has. I haven't seen them in a long time... Any rate, I was a bit surprised to see Nate.
Yukiko (to Victor): Oh? Why is that?
Victor (to Yukiko): Heh. He didn't seem the sympathetic listener type last time we met.
Yukiko (to Victor): Help me down. Please? He's become a lot calmer & gentler since Lily came into their lives.

Victor (to Yukiko): Oh ...Bloody 'ell this has got to twist you up inside. I haven't been too considerate of that, have I? I'm sorry.
Yukiko (to Victor): I'm fine or at least I will be. You're the one whose whole life has changed in an instance. Amazingly, this isn't the worst thing that's ever happened to me.
Victor (to Yukiko): ...I'm sorry for that too. My life might be different, but it's not like my lot has gotten worse, is it? I've got clothes that're warm enough... I don't have to steal or con anyone to eat... I'm not on the run from CLANNG... My folks are alive... I've got a beautiful woman willing to get to know me despite all the weirdness... I spent most of my time hungry and alone before. This is a VAST improvement for me... But it's not for you.
Yukiko (to Victor): I'm dealing with it. And, you're here, alive & healthy. That's enough for me. Yes, I miss the Victor that I knew but I like getting to know you.
Victor (to Yukiko): Goddamn, I am a lucky sod, aren't I?
Yukiko (to Victor): It depends on how you look at it, I suppose... Would you like to have sex with me? I mean, I know we've been intimate before now but I think I might be ready, if you are interested. I think we need to know if we should bother continuing forward or call it quits.
